1. Argentina
Argentina
theres snow falling over the midlands now the wind is whippin through the trees
all across the town of mullingar the famine gives no ease
From the villages the most are gone theyve died or gone the way
theres a boat leaving cobh next week and on it i will be
3 weeks we spent on board that ship, sailing in a ship of hell
how many people died on board, noone there can tell
were bound for argentina boys a far off distant land
where they say that the pampas grass will grow at your command
when we reached buenos aires town a welcome there wed meet
our friends who came from mullingar came out and made a feast
we drank and sang the songs of home the songs of bitter sweet
The songs that praise our native shore that we were forced to leave
for 10 years ive worked these land my hands worked to the bone
a spanish wife and 2 young sons, a farm and a nice home
still i think of mullingar when i lay in bed at night
the coocoo in the summertime, the corn cray in flight
20 years ive worked these fields in sunshine, cold or rain
1000 head of cattle now roam this this dusty plain
Ill never again see mullingar tho its with me everyday
my boys have grown up and gonenow im here to stay
Now ive reached my 80th year of the old crowd most are gone
still we meet on patricks day the families who live on
The macarthys and the nelsons, the caseys and forlongs
tho we speak in spanish now in Gaelic we sing our songs
Fhir an bhata 'sna horo eile
Fhir an bhata 'sna horo eile
Fhir an bhata 'sna horo eile
O fare thee well, love, where'er ye be in gaelic we sing our songs

The fall of man
I wrote a song for the fall of man, then it began with Adrianna
It wasnt a war or an atom cloud, the end it came from the inside out
I felt the hunger on the street, I had it too but couldnt eat
All the while i longed to see her, dancing tango and Menea
And if i steal you from this world, Take from your dreams the Emerald
Tamper with your fantasies, Beg to see you on your knees
And if you steal me from this world, Take me dreams to the Emerald
shun the world when we are kissing, lies are sometimes premonitions!!
We dropped the pipe bomb 30 stories, We were bored or bound for glory
Her smile it glowed in the sirens light, and dragged me deeper into the night!!
And if you court a different lady, ill rip out her guts with a razorblade
show her what a mess she made, and send them to you on an Autumn day

4. A New Song for the Morning
There will be winners this time,
all your lost daughers we ll find
there will be hope on the street,
we ll sweep the broken glass from underneath your feet
come home x3 Theres a new song for the Morning
There will be answers this time,
They said dont seek what you dont want to find
we ll cry a bloodbath or 2,
These are the tears of an unbelievable truth
come home x3 Theres a new song for the Morning
There will be closure this time
The pain in the moments a wound healed by time
There will be more songs to sing,
and everyond dies babe even the king
come home x3 Theres a new song for the Morning
5. My friend Ger
My friend Ger
The Parting inspector is out on his rounds, and no one is safe from his mission
From the children at play in the playground, to the lovers in the seat where theyre sitting
(Pre-Chorus)
Once upon a life there was a different fight
while the darkness was having its day
(Chorus)
My friend ger saw the whole world stir and the dry leaves fall where they may
but Josie and Maria could tell Tia Maria, were alive and we are Ok
He ll Ticket the mayor, his wife he dont care, I once heard his sister went down
the last socialist with a passenger list. We are all equal in this town
Amigos arrived On the great Shannon side, as the fled from the dread Pinochet
Mi6 got there signals mixed, From Moscow to Lahinch by the bay.
6. Santiano
(Refrain)

7. Lifes own light
Lahinch beach near to the night,
you can still see Lifes own light
its no matter of belief,
just beauty and a thief
In not angry, my heart is small,
Sometimes i am nothing at all
just a prisoner of birth,
and for all it was worth,
who couldnt help where the apple did fall
Ennistymon near to the morning,
you can still feel lifes own warning
The ghosts that stayed up,
to catch the next sup,
and the terror of day as its dawning
Our nation mourns with a maybe,
I think that we threw out the baby
Though the bathwaters dirt was so ugly it hurt
it was only the child that could save me
Doolin this afternoon,
you can still hear life own tune
The welcome of death,
or the place where we met,
the real septembers in Bloom
Lahinch beach near to the night,
you can still see Lifes own light
its no matter of belief,
just beauty and a thief
In not angry, my heart is small,

10. Todos Juntos
Chanson folk/rock todos juntos los jaivas
Tablatures :
11. The day after ......
Boy, Boy do I try, to figure you out and you just lie here
Why, Why do I Try, to figure you out and you just lie here
Time, Time it goes by, and I say bye and you just lie here
And I, I saw you cry, maybe did I, put my tears in your own view
Was I scared of your touch, was it too much or was it just me too
The light covers your skin, can I come in, while you just lie here
Boy, Boy do I try, to figure you out and you just lie here
Why, Why do I Try, to figure you out and you just lie here
Time, Time it goes by, and I say bye and you just lie here
And I, I saw you cry, maybe did I, put my tears in your own view
Was I scared of your touch, was it too much or was it just me too
The light covers your skin, can I come in, while you just lie here
12. Little bridget Flynn
I've a nice little house and a cow yard too with grass.
I've a plant garden running by the door.
I've a shelter for the hens and a stable for the ass
Now, what could a man want more?
I don't know, maybe so,
But a bachelor is easy and he's free.
But I've lots to look after, though I'm living all alone.
Sure nobody's looking after me.
My father often tells me I should go and have a try
To find a girl that owns a bit of land.
And I know, the way he says it, that there's someone on his mind.
And my mother has the whole thing planned.
I don't know, maybe so,
But t'would mollify them greatly to agree.
Now, there's little Bridget Flynn, sure it's her I'd love to win,
But she never has an eye for me.
Now there's a little girl who's worth her weight in gold.
And that's a decent dowry, don't you see?
And I mean to go and ask her just as soon as I get bold,
If she'll come and have an eye for me.
Will she go? I don't know.
But I'd love to have her sitting on my knee.
And I'll sing like a thrush in a hawthorn bush
If she'll come and have an eye for me.
13. Solo le pido a Dios
Solo le pido a dios
que el dolor no me sea indiferente,
que la reseca
muerta no me encuentre
